I’m just going to post the link to my new blogging home. I think this is like my 3rd or forth move in in the course of the… about 4 years? That I’ve been semi-regularly blogging. It’s as easy is pie. I’m at miltownkid.com. It looks the same, but it’s totally new.

I really like blogging and I still will be blogging, just not here anymore. I’ll be spread out across a few websites and places on the internet. I plan on consolidating “everything” to one place (miltownkid.com) one of these days, but I don’t know when that day will come. Until then you can find me at these places:

Those are the main places you’ll find me online. I’ll update the list if anything else comes to mind. I guess there might be ONE more post with news of the new site when it’s done to my liking, but for now this will be it.

I need to hurry up and put the footage together from my first time visiting the school. What school? The [Maharishi University of Management.] Unfortunately the founder of the school [Maharishi Mahesh Yogi] passed away this month on the 5th. He must have left the physical realm EXTREMELY pleased with what he accomplished though I would think. What is going in and around the university is a ART. I don’t know what else to call it. They have a beautiful thing going on down there.
Anyhow, there’s going to be [a special visitors weekend] featuring a bunch of people, including Moby and David Lynch. I know who Moby is from music videos like this:
Moby’s also down with vegan eating and all kinds of other GANGSTERNESS! The vegan thing is a little too hardcore for me at the moment, but it’s what I’m aspiring to be.
And I never heard of David Lynch before checking the place out last month, but it appears that he’s pretty groovy too. Shortly after getting back from that first visit, I found this video featuring Mr. Lynch.
Anyhow, I’m all registered now. It should be a good time!
A friend, many moons ago while living in Taiwan, told me I should register on the Something Awful forums and that I’d like it there. I of course checked the place out right away, but I obviously wasn’t ready then. They must have seemed too daunting and I was still having fun being a big fish in the small pond of the [Forumosa.com] forums.
Well, as of late I have felt a lack of people to debate with and bounce ideas off of and whatnot. I have the forums going on at [miltownkids.com] and they are very good for certain things (like general BSing around and such) but something wanted MORE. So today, instead of working on my Marketing Paper, I decided to dive into the [SomethingAwful forums.] The first post I made was in a thread about Chinese. That was fun, but there really wasn’t enough going on in there (I haven’t even checked that post since making it.) Then I decided to jump into a thread about Universal Health Care. OH did the good times roll from that thread…
Anyhow, if all your other forums are starting to feel dried up or you’re looking for a place to… to get down with the “whales” of the intraweb the SA forums are probably one of the best places to go.
That is all for today. I’ve been in front of my computer for like 6 hours straight. It’s time to eat and sleep and do it all again tomorrow. 
I have this movie I want to upload (two actually) but Youtube is being a fucking bitch right now so I can’t. I’ve never had this problem with Youtube before. It’s funny that it comes a couple days after me upgrading my blog and getting back into blogging…
Something else funny happened the other day. I was out at LandMark Lanes (this bowling alley/arcade) and walked by this dude that was mugging me kind of “hard.” I mugged back at him and walked on, but noted the strangeness of the situation. Well later on in the evening I went to the front of the place to make a phone call (the place is in the basement) and I see that dude again and he says…
Dude: “I KNOW YOU FROM SOMEWHERE!”
Me: “Hmmm… 55th Street? Morse? Bayview?” (All old schools)
Dude: “Nah, but I know you from somewhere.”

I read about Scientology a long time ago, but I never read the Xenu story until just recently (like 2 weeks ago.) I think it should be required reading at school and shit. lol

I’ve never really tried to make any money with my current position on Youtube as of yet. It seems like there are a lot of ways to profit from my situation in a way that puts $ in my pockets AND enhances the lives of me viewers. One of the ways that keeps popping to mind is through affiliate marketing.
Here’s [the Wikipeida entry for affiliate marketing] but I’ll try my best to explain to save you from too much reading. The way it basically works is you have a link on a website, a person clicks that link and goes to a companies page. If the person buys something from that page the company pays you. Bada-bing bada-boom. Money in the bank.
The way I figured I could get that to work was by (for example) making a video promoting a certain product and then having a link in the more info area to that product or service. I currently have 2 things in mind. One is webhosting and the other is Gamefly.
Gamefly works nice for me because I actually use the service and a lot of my Youtube subscribers are gamers. A perfect match I think. I signed up to be a Gamefly affiliate just now… Now I have to think about how to get my link into a video properly (I think it should just be a copy and paste job, but I emailed their support just in case.) Here’s a text based affiliate link in case someone happens to read this that wants to check out the service and help a negro get paid. I think the shit is awesome, so it’ll be easy for me to sell.
